About the Author

Born and raised in Clearfield, Utah, Gary Warren(reviser) and his wife eventually settled in Brigham City, Utah. They have 4 children, 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Gary has been a member of the Cache Rock and Gem Club, located in Logan, Utah, for 10 years, 8 of which he served as president. He enjoys sharing his love of rockhounding with children through school lectures and after-school group demonstrations and activities. The club has also incorporated a Junior Rockhounding program. Recently retired, Gary has more time to pursue his passions, traveling and rockhounding throughout Utah. William A. Kappele has been rockhounding across the West for more than forty years. His other books include Rockhounding Nevada and Rockhounding Colorado.

I wanted a different version, probably an earlier one. Most of the info I got this book for had been revised out, leaving much less exciting things. I would never pick out a book off of amazon again because of this.

A book for feminists, I recognized so much about the treatment of women in this book, things that have happened to me that I had managed to convince myself were no big deal, just the way things are, or never even examined closely. It shines a light on how women are still marginalized and then bullied if they dare to stand up to the male hierarchy

This unapologetic roar for equality is inspiring, heartrending and empowering. Clementine succinctly exposes the issues we are facing in our fight for a society in which people are equal. I am proud to fight like a girl. Thank you Clementine.

An excellent heartfelt, well thought out rallying cry to engage in feminism. Just need to steel yourself for the somewhat unnecessary level of invective. But don't let that put you off staying to the end and being encouraged to join/rejoin the fight against patriachary and misogyny "like a girl".

There was a lot of repetition. But i think it's necessary. I don't think I would have got it if it hafn't been repeated. I admit there's part of me that wants to deny it. Scarey!

Clementine's great sense of humour and honesty to tell it like it is for women in our world is soooo refreshing. This book should be a compulsory read in secondary school. Good on you Clementine !!! Keep up the good work.

This book wasn’t written for me. It was written for women and women should read this book. Clementine’s anger should be your anger. If you’re already angry get someone else to read it who isn’t and get them angry too. Clementine isn’t asking for my help. She is asking for yours. I’ll do my best to get out of your way.

It made me laugh, cry and seethe with rage. Thank you Clementine for opening my eyes.
