Great book, lovely edition.
Beautifully written and insightful conceptual history of landscape. I teach in an architecture school and often recommend this book to students.
Although I haven't finished it yet, it is fascinating. Vittoria Di Palma backs up her premise with historical research that goes above and beyond. Bravo !!
A very tedious writing style. The book in general is lackluster.
