I was looking for an angel tarot and I love this Angel tarot deck
I am very pleased with that absolutely beautiful gilt deck. A pleasure to hold it in hands, to look at it and to use. I recommend.
Cardstock is highly glossy (laminated) and unbelievably slippery! Also they are very stiff and hurt your hands while trying to shuffle. It could have been a great experience but the cardstock turned it into a total disappointment for me.
This is a gorgeous deck. It is a traditional deck with 22 Major Arcana and four suits of fourteen each. The artwork is stunning. Every card features an angel in some way other than the Sun which has cherubs. The gilded edges add to the beauty of this deck.I've already done a flip-through on YouTube (arwen61) to show off this pretty deck. It reads very well for me (I am a professional reader). The card stock is sturdy without being too thick to shuffle.I particularly love the naming of the angels for the Major Arcana. And the court cards are all famous people which is a nice addition for the historians among us.This is not a "all is love, all is good" deck. It shows the good and the bad with angelic sensitivity. I can recommend this deck to someone who wants an angel deck that is true to the tradition of Tarot.
The beauty of the deck begins at the gilt-edging and intensifies with the wonderful artwork on each and every card. I also love the size of the deck ( 3" x 5"). Among the many decks I own and use this one is unique, and it emanates a deep, complex, and wonderful energy. I find myself using this new deck for meditation, spellwork, readings, and sometimes just to gaze at the artwork. It feels almost like a talisman, or an amulet...it just feels good to have it near and I sometimes carry it around with me. I don't think you'll be disappointed in this lovely deck. I highly recommend it!
This is one of the best decks to come out in a while. If you're looking for yet another Angel Deck that will flood the market, this isn't it. It is completely tarot based and not an Oracle. It's also so nice to find the accompanying booklet so carefully thought out and deep. The explanations of each card is not just fluff. As a collector and a professional reader, I am ordering a second copy of these cards. I only do that with decks that I know I am in love with and want a backup. I think it's plain to see that I am more than impressed with this masterpiece in a flooded market of cards!
