If I hadn't already purchased the Mindsets in the Classroom book, I would have been very happy with this purchase. Most of the resources provided in this book are shown in Ricci's first book, albeit in smaller format. The information and handouts in this book are certainly helpful and I will use them, but I wouldn't recommend buying both books--just buy this one and you'll be ready to teach colleagues, parents, and students about the growth mindset.
This is an amazing resource! After taking the class last school year, I am excited to see how my students respond to the activities in this book. They're easy to follow and materials are minimal. Great resource for anyone looking to enhance the positive atmosphere of their classroom.
This book has some great "posters" to put up in your classroom, lots of ready to use resources that are applicable for K-8. Some of the resources could be used with older kids. Love it.
This book is not as user-friendly as I had hoped. It seems like a useful book if a school is working to shift to growth mindset, not as helpful to an individual.
Great resource, a quick read, resources already set for the copy machine.
Awesome resource! Very practical, and goes great with the Mindsets in the Classroom book. We're currently using a lot of these resources to jumpstart our Growth Mindset PD sessions.
Some useful ideas are included in the book but it really needs to be used following reading the Mindsets in the Classroom book.
